[Drops a totebag beside her full of goodies, none of which seem to be crochet hooks; for now she just reaches in and tosses D.va a cool drink.]

Nailed it. You know me. I'm a crochet-ing Queen. I made this bedspread myself. [ she smooths a hand over it and then catches the drink. ]

This is perfect~ and I'll never say no to a refreshing drink. [ she opens it and then motions to the pool / ocean. ] We can probably blame that for the heat. Damn thing can't make up its mind. Are we at a pool or a beach? At least there's no sand, that shit gets everywhere.

Kinda seems like you got the best of both worlds, though. Whenever you wanna cool off, you've got the water right here. I mean, it's not like it should take that long for that outfit to dry.

[cocking an eyebrow she sits at the edge of the pool, dipping her bare feet into the water. The hems of her capris go dark and damp, but it's refreshing enough]

It's not bad. And I do love the beach. [ she stands up on the bed and walks to the edge, hopping off. ] I think the sleeves are the biggest pain, but, yah, there's not much to this. [ snickers and reaches up to tap her crown. ] I'm most concerned with this - can't let it rust.

[ she'll sit alongside nem and take another drink. ] I admit I haven't gone looking around this place, so there could be more to it. For reason I haven't ever felt like leaving... it's been kinda weird.

If people're just gonna come by and give you what you need, then what's the big deal? And you can't complain about the view.

[looks straight at D.va as she speaks, ignoring the clear sky and the brilliantly blue sea. a beat later she looks away, clears her throat]

Anyways, we can go exploring if you want. I can help you ditch the sleeves...for safety, I mean.

[ she leans into nem. ] No. I can't. I almost have the best seat in the house too. I'm so close and yet... so far. [ grins. ]

Ah, I suppose we could, ...

[ turns her head to brush her lips over nem's cheek. ]

Or I could enjoy the view for a few minutes more.

[her expression lightens, relieved, though the smile that spreads over her face is accomplished]

Like I said, no complaints here.

[this is kind of like exploring. Just instead of seeking out what’s just beyond the horizon it’s more pressing into another kiss, discovering the softness of her lips, the flavor, the right pressure to apply. Still straight out of Indiana Jones (though hopefully fewer poison darts)]
