[honestly, it's a pretty nice night. not too hot, not too cold. the city line is looking relatively clean-- and the sounds of life below are kind of comforting. especially given the normal silence of Tokyo-F.
Jason's lowering his hood, and pulling off his mask as he approaches the edge of the roof beside you.]
[raven's long coat is fluttering in the wind as he stands there, surveying the city skyline. his gaze eventually lands on jay, looking him up and down, very obviously proprietary]
[look, he's very obviously wearing clothes that are clinging to his muscles. it's fair. but when he hears Raven, his head inclines back towards him, and his stance shifts enough to turn partways towards him.]
Didn't think you'd make it up here, but looks like I was wrong.
[ she's dressed head-to-toe in practical black, the breeze causing some hair to escape her braid, and turns her head when he speaks—she's standing a little bit back from the edge to look at the scenery, as if a little leery of the height. ]
Yeah. And we're above it all-- the best kinda view you can get.
[he does turn slightly away from the scenery to look at her, but he doesn't move away from the edge. his jacket and hair waft in the wind-- and his shirt is very, very obviously clinging to his muscles. compared to her black, his red is bight and stands out against the lighting of the city.
It's for the whole secret identity. Can't have all the crazies knowing who I am-- or maybe it's the normal guys. Would hate to get approached on the street about every old problem that can come up.
[in something white and flowing, toes right up against the edge of the building with her hands tucked behind her as she considers the lights and the noise and the life. not looking back at the comment]
[the life-- it's the thing he misses the most. having problems that could be immediately accessed and fixed. people that could be-- maybe not helped, but the idea was there. he glances over at her.]

Not bad.

... no, not bad at all.

I have my ways. You were right; the view is... breathtaking.

[finally, he peels off the domino mask-- surprise. it was jason the whole time.]
And you're above it all up here.
[he finally steps towards him.]

raven notices him coming closer out of the corner of his eye, and his lip curls into a not-so-subtle smirk]
There are other ways of making a man feel like he's on top of the world... but this one is certainly effective.
no subject
So, you still going for the villain bit?
Because I'm 50-50 on if I should have a problem with that.

the domino mask blocks his blue eyes, though.]

[ she says, looking sideways at him, and not at the city at all,
and then, a little self-consciously, brushes some hair back out of her face, tucking it back behind her ear. ]
...what's the mask for? I hope I didn't miss something about the dress code.
no subject
[he offers a mild shrug.]
What about the black?
[he will move closer to her]
no subject
[ she looks up at the sky briefly, expression a little distant, before glancing back at him. ]
I'm used to trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. Similar reason, you could say. And, anyway, it's practical...
...surely you can take that off here, though.

Here? Sure. For you.

It's a pretty quiet night. Could be a lot worse.

You could be called away to some danger?
[and back to the sight]
It is peaceful. I am glad for it.

[he offers a small shrug.]
I kinda miss it.

[easily turning around to come down off the ledge, holding a hand out to him]
Shall we? Unless you think it time for another lesson.
no subject
You mean like a lesson in falling?
