DEMON HUNTING AFTERMATH, BUT SEXY

[ it's the aftermath of a long hunt -- both you and Dante are bloodied and tired, and have chosen his office as place to retreat. it's not exactly glamorous-looking; but hey, a roof's a roof, and Dante's going to thunk down in his creaky wooden chair, with a lop-sided sort of smile as his demon hunting partner. ]

That was a bit of a toughie, huh?

[ understating matters -- and though his tone his casual there's a genuine sort of appreciativeness to his tone that's rare to come through. truthfully -- he can still feel the adrenaline pumping through him some -- but with no more demons in front of him there isn't exactly a way to vent that feeling.

[V is leaning on his cane a bit heavily, heart pumping as though it's trying to strain out of his rib cage. he's sweating but not bloodied too badly--nothing some first aid won't take care of. he has a sharp cut across his cheek and one on his shoulder that are bleeding freshly.

shadow slinks along to find somewhere to rest, leaving bloody paw prints on the floor. the blood isn't theirs. thankfully that floor is already stained plenty, so no one cares. griffon is perched on the banister, shaking out his feathers, and lets out a yawn--it's been a hardy fight for all.

V lets out a breathy chuckle, his already deep voice sounding huskier than usual. although he's exhausted, his leg is tapping like he's about to burst into dance, the adrenaline coursing through his veins]

You have a knack for the obvious.

[ it occurs to Dante how much nicer V looks like this -- not that he's bad to look at normally, but everyone gets a certain layer of attractiveness added to them when they're blood-stained and adrenaline-fueled. even someone as stringy as V.

he'd complain about the blood on the floor (cleaners, he knows, cost Way Too Much, which is why the place is never clean) but he honestly can't pay too much mind to it, especially with the floor as dirty as it is. in fact he can't care much about the mess overall at this point, not when he hears that breathy chuckle, he sees that tapping leg -- his eyes drop down to that and he watches V closely, like a predator tracking its target.

a lazy smile crosses over his face. ]

I call 'em as I see 'em!

[V lifts a hand to brush some hair from his face, which is flushed with color for once, and the movement is just... a perfect mimic of you know who, when he's pushing his hair back. it's just a moment, but then it's gone, and V is making his way to sit on dante's desk because the couch is too far away and he's tired. his leg doesn't stop tapping, though.]

And when can I expect my payment?

[ that perfect mimic of him shouldn't have the effect on him it does, logically, but unfortunately Dante is not exactly a logical person. he leans forward on his elbows, incidentally, moving a bit closer to him, and shrugs his shoulders. ]

'Fraid I'm out of cash at the moment. Got any other ideas?

[V's grip on his cane flexes for a moment, and he taps it against the corner of the desk in thought]

Oh, I've got... one idea.

[he says, his voice getting even lower, lips curving into a grin. shadow and griffon's forms fade back into V's tattoos abruptly, moving over his bare skin in intricate patterns]

But I don't think you'll like it.

[devilmightcare]

Yeah?

[ V's tone, the grin, has his blood bumping, even more than the adrenaline from the fight from before. he leans, a dangerous crook on his lip even as he jokes; ]

Just so you know, poetry-readin' is absolutely outta the question.

[Glory is dressed more or less like this, though she has a ZRAEL-esque dress on under the cloak rather than her uniform. She is standing at the edge of the desk to disassemble and clean her gun, which is etched with morning glory vines.

Her dry response comes without looking up at him.]

A bit.

[Shink-shink-clack. She slides the gun parts back together with sharp efficient motions.]

[ there's a little huff of laughter at her reply as he sits up a bit further -- leaning on his elbows to watch as she puts her guns back together, with interest. ]

You're clean as always, though.

[ even if that's not meant literally -- it's hard to avoid getting dirty after a fight like that -- he's referring to her movements, the efficiency of her hands, small things like that. ]

[In fact she is significantly less clean than her gun is, now; her cloak caught the worst of it, but certainly not all of it, and she hasn't bothered to even attempt to wipe her face off before working on her gun. Her face is a lot less likely to rust and jam.

She finishes up the reassembly and huffs, finally glancing over.]

I'm not sure I can say the same for you.

[ he doesn't mind the mess on her at the moment -- it's not like he has room to judge. and he's not making a move to clean himself up yet, either, still feeling too riled up to start the process of that.

he lifts his hands, as if in a motion of surrender ]

Hey, say what you will about my style -- I get results, don't I?

[rollplayinghouse]

[She evaluates him for a moment, but he certainly took out too many demons too effectively for her to deny that, so eventually, somewhat grudgingly:]

Yes, you do. You weren't bad.

[devilmightcare]

Not bad? You're undersellin' me a bit, aren't you?

[ she's in this and messing around with the assortment of belts that are holding her sword in place on her hip. as soon as she works the buckle open she lets it clamor to the floor as she hops up onto the edge of the desk, sliding a hand back, so she can lean closer to dante. ]

Mm~ and a goodie. [ she chuckles in between catching her breath. ] We sure showed them, hm? I'm glad I got to come along this time. I can't be letting you have all fun. s'Just not fair~

Y'know, I don't usually like to work in pairs, but I'm thinkin' for you I can keep making exceptions.

[ there's a smile on his face, though, as he leans forward -- closer to her, both of his elbows on the desk, closer to her in turn. ]

Almost sad it's over.

I kind'a got that feeling. But I think we worked well together... even if I'm still not nearly as skilled at this demon hunting things as you. Please do though~ getting to kick ass and take names with the best of them sure gets the blood pumping. [ she hums her agreement, giving a nod as she reaches to boop his nose. ] And who says it's over, Dante? I think there's still one more demon that needs slaying.

[ she uses her tail to push herself further onto the desk, a few things getting knocked aside and to the floor, but at least the room's already kind of a mess, so he can't really complain too much. ] Me.

Oh yeah?

[ it's true -- most of the things on his desk are the equivalent of playboy magazines, which he doesn't mind at all being scattered to the floor. if this were a non-sexy dream and his actual office there'd be a photo on his desk top he'd be careful to put away, too, but thankfully sexy dream means he doesn't have to worry about that.

he grins, and sits himself up a little more, pointing a fingergun at her. ]

So I saved the best for last?

[ she twists, getting up onto the desk completely and crawling toward the fingergun being pointed at her until it's pressing to her temple. ] Bang~ [ chuckles, reaching to take his wrist to 'redirect' the shot. ] ...or, hm, tell me Dante would this be better. [ moves it over her heart and, more importantly, her breast. ]

[ there's a low whistle as he moves to stand -- giving him a better angle to lean closer, without having to sit in the chair for it. his hand unfolds so he can cup her breast more fully, giving a none-too-gentle squeeze, one knee lifting to rest on the edge of the desk. ]

You're definitely the hottest demon I've "slain".

[Noah's in his canon outfit, all shredded and bloodied. You know, sexy thigh, you can see the short shorts, it's good! High quality content. He's finally letting his sword and shield of light he's had summoned for most of the hunt fade back into ambient aether, and he (has to hop up to) perch on the desk, winded but grinning as well. Someone enjoys an adventure.]
