[She sets her gun down carefully, on the edge of the desk away from both of them.]

I don't take quite the same joy in my work as you do, but I don't mind the evidence of our victory.

[ a little amused laugh -- even after he's scrubbed the mark off his hand is lingering just a little long. ]

It's satisfying, right?

[huffs lightly]

[shifts her weight]

[ lightly, his hand finally dropping from her face -- but playfully, moving down to skim against the side of her leg instead ]

Yeah. It is.

[When his hand brushes her leg she exhales again, a little more sharply this time.

And then all at once she moves for real, rising to sit on the edge of the desk and slide closer to him, reaching out to grip the lapel of his coat.]

Were you looking to have a little more fun?

[ he laughs -- it's a little breathless, not stopping the pleased, shit-eating smile that crosses his face as he moves to stand. but it's only to be at a better angle, closer to her, hand teasing up the edge of her skirt. ]

Caught me red-handed!

[Her leg twitches, knees spreading just a little wider as his hand moves up her thigh, breath catching nearly imperceptibly. And then she pulls him in closer with a forceful tug at his coat.]

You're not that smooth a criminal.

[Time for a kiss to get that smug grin off his face, though she doesn't have any doubt it will just be more smug afterwards.]

[ she's not wrong. in fact she can probably feel the way his lips curl against hers, and he leans forward to match that kiss, encouraged to skirt his his hand up further, getting her skirt pushed up to her hips -- giving himself more room to lean in between them, nestling himself comfortable between her legs. ]

[Demon hunting in thigh high stockings and panties that tie on the side probably isn't super practical, but not any less practical than assassinating people in them.
