[Scoots in closer, so that he's pressed up against her again]

[Opens her stance so he can position himself as he likes. She is most definitely warm]

[Settles in at her side, hesitant, most of them pressed together from shoulder to hip.]

[Shifts, careful; winds her arm around his waist again, easing him closer still]

I mean, like I said. I'm good with whatever. So...

[Pauses]

We can sit back-to-back, or back-to-front, if that's easier.

[A beat]

Yeah. Yeah, let's -

[unbr8kable]

...It's only so big a blanket. Back-to-back, probably somebody's feet gotta stick out.

...good call. So, like. I guess. I guess we better, uh... get settled.

[unbr8kable]

Uh, yeah. So, uh...

[Shifts, a little awkward]

You, uh. You want to be big spoon, or little spoon?

[unbr8kable]

I can do either. Big's fine, or whatever.

Uh... sure. Uh. So, should I just, like...?

Yeah. Just, um. Feel free?

[She unfolds her legs, so he's got space to move]

[Hesitates, then shifts, a little awkward, to get up on his knees and move in front of her. It's probably hard to see how red his face is from this angle, but he is definitely blushing all the way to his ears.]

[Waits until he's settled, then settles behind him, carefully positioning her legs around his. Even from this distance it's obvious how much heat is coming off of her]

[Ducks his head a little]

This, uh... this okay?

I mean. Is it? I can...I mean, if you want...

[She trails off, close enough he can surely feel as she shifts behind him, but not exactly touching him, just in case]

[There's a startled second or two of silence. When he manages a reply, it's aiming for unaffected, and probably falls well short]

I mean. I mean, only if you wanna.

[Her tone is much the same, forced casual even as she keeps her body carefully still]

Like I said like eight times, it's up to you. ...Just--seems easier, maybe. But--maybe not, and that's also fine.

[She takes a deep breath, chest almost pressing into his shoulderblades when she does. And then she scoots even closer, relaxing her thighs against his and leaning in to pull the blanket more snugly around them. She stays there, after; pressed flush against his back, arms wrapped around them both]

You're--cold...

[(She herself goes warmer for some reason)]

...sorry.

[He swallows; it sounds very loud, in the quiet of the room. If he had a heart, it would be going about a million miles a minute, but he doesn't, and for once he's glad; at least it can't give him away]

You're - you're real warm.

[unbr8kable]

It's okay. You can admit I'm hot. That's why we're here, isn't it?

[She is fairly certain her voice stays steady, perhaps even approaches properly boastful; she's much less certain her pulse isn't loping along too quick to match, and there isn't any more she can do to hide that from him than she can hide her obvious reaction to the cold, or the flush that goes halfway down her chest]

[He goes very still at the words - makes a small, choked kind of sound.]
