[ they whine again, a bit louder this time. they're more steady now that they're expecting it, but they still just bury their face in his chest, wordlessly. ]

[ it's not suggesting that they do, just curious, as he runs his hand back up the scales ]

[ with that "encouragement" he'll move back a bit -- then bend down, aiming to sweep them up into his arms in a bridal-style carry before stepping into the shower. ]

they just flail a bit before covering their face to hide the blush. ]

[ he kneels and then sits on the tub floor, trying to settle them in his lap ]

[ wrapping his arms back around them to tug them in for another kiss take THAT. ]

they yelp this time, accompanied by their body twitching against him - they freeze after that, embarrassed.]

[ laughs into the kiss -- stroking their spine with one hand, unravelling his arm just for that, settling his palm back on their tail ]
