[ It's a beautiful day outside.
Amid scores of cottony clouds the sun shines down bright and warm, settled content within a wide, blue sky. Occasionally a breeze, cooled by the nearby lake, drifts by, ensuring a balmy and pleasant temperature - you can see it there if you roll your head, shore shimmering in the light, a number of old, dilapidated ruins of Roman design dotting its surface, an imposing manor off in the distance. Birdsong rings out from faraway trees.
Or if you roll the other way, you'll see... a... some fabric? Looking up of course reveals you, or at the very least your head, to be resting in Aradia's lap - while she's dressed no differently than usual (particularly), the browns and creams of her vest and hat aren't exactly ☆ZRAEL couture. She strokes at your hair gently as the two of you rest at the shore, idle as she reads a book you're unable to make out the title of, humming a melody you're unable to recognize.
As she takes notice of you however, she stops; setting the book away in favor of conversation, she beams down at you, expression peaceful. ]
This was something I've been wondering about for a while, but since we're out like this, and I really wanted to spoil you today, I decided to bring it with me ... well, even if I was wrong, or if it didn't work, I thought it'd be nice to do that, but this body only has four limbs, right?
[ leaning over - if he sits up to look he'll see she's got a basket beside her, and a small pile of books to read; they're on a blanket for whatever reason, was this like a wholeass picnic? who knows ]
Do you want the sandwiches? There's rice and salmon too, I think, and some soup in the thermos...
he's got two: a ham sandwich with swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber, and one that just seems to have a paste on it - grated cheddar and softened butter, both on robust, fresh bread. ]
Here.
[ and, of course, a bottle of water, which he's being handed next ]
[This all seems remarkably familiar and comfortable. Glory spends a few seconds glancing out over the lake before Aradia's words quite register, at which point one thing does seem a little strange.]
It's a nice day today, so if you were able to take a good nap, then I'm glad!
Do you want anything?
