They'd better give you these wings back, because I could get used to this far too easily. [ Nestling in against whatever part of those wings her face is touching ]

Do we ever have games where we transform into such creatures not for the purposes of eating each other? I think that would be wonderful.

I don't know, but I hope so. Not just for selfish reasons, but... [ you know, for that too. ]

Not all the games are so bad. The last game I was in before this one, we got to dress up in fancy formal clothes and chat each other up to try to find out each other's assigned code words, and there was lots of food and drinks around.

That does sound pleasant. A game of espionage, but with low stakes, hm?

Exactly. And I got to keep the slinky dress. My first game was Drunk Cards. And the Lives are always fun.

I would very much enjoy a lighthearted game, after all that. I believe we all deserve one.

[sangreine]

We can only hope. In the meantime, we have karaoke plans, right? We can make our own fun if they don't decide to treat us properly.

How could I forget? I do look forward to singing my heart out.

[ Is there anything better than being wrapped in wings with headnuzzles? No, no there is not. Maybe the other plans they made ]

And I look forward to hearing it. It's a nice tradition for after bad games, if it becomes that. This would only be the second time.

All traditions start from somewhere. I'm honored to be part of the creation of a new one.

And to think, when I first figured out my affinity for music it made me very uncomfortable.

Oh? Any particular reason?

[sangreine]

I wish I knew -- well, maybe not wish, not now that I enjoy it myself. But I'm not sure of the reason. It's locked away in my memories.

There's a whole list of things that upset me for reasons I don't understand. Certain words, the sight of twins. And I have a fear of being alone that's far more intense than I think is probably normal.

I see... I imagine most people here are the same way, to some degree.

Some are, yes. Some people arrive with their memories intact.

Do they? What makes them so lucky?

I don't know all the details, but I believe they were out in the rest of hell and chose to come here for a chance to graduate. Something like that. Graduation gives us options we wouldn't normally have.

I'm not sure if I envy them or not. [ Her memories are horror shows. ]

An escape from hell at the price of playing these games, is it...

I do wonder how 'tis determined where people end up in Hell.

No idea. And I don't know if we're the luckier ones or the unluckier.

I do prefer this over the fire and brimstone torture variety, if only because I hadn't thought such a thing would allow for making friends.
