[ A little surprised by the speed, but that's all that really registers about it, and then he's just grinning at the spread. Honestly, crepes and omurice are the identifiable 'breakfast' foods he knows in his own canon, so. It would not be hard to cover him pretty well. ]
I mean, the fact that you didn't bring paperwork with it is definitely a plus.
[ Sorry about the tsun compliments, Aster. It smells great. ]
[ Eyebrows lift, but he shifts on the bed to better reach the tray. If Aster had actually taken any time to come back, he probably would've, like, managed to loosen the yukata back up again significantly, but it's still a little looser for having been worn carelessly in bed for a couple of minutes. ]
[ ...Doesn't entirely miss it, and his smile goes a little more languid. ]
Oh, [ breezy, ] I like a lot of things... from time to time.
[ He didn't mess up the yukata on purpose, but now he's going to. It's not even difficult, when the obi's already a little loose, to shuck up one of his sleeves — getting it out of the way of the food, ofc — while simultaneously shrugging his shoulder in a way that makes the neck of the yukata... slip. ]
[ His attention is briefly on the tea he's preparing, as a good servant's should be, so his response isn't quite as affected as it could be when he responds. ]
So I've been discovering.
[ There's a second part to that quip that gets cut off when he does finally look up and catches the way Lupine's yukata has slipped, nearly letting the tea pot slip from his hands in response to the sight. There's a light flush to his face now, but unlike the Aster that Lupine might see him to be outside of this dream, inside it there's a level of comfort with both Lupine and himself that leads to... ]
But I am always willing to learn more about the exact things you enjoy.
[ ...Yeah, that's not the reaction he was expecting. It's less funny, which means it's also less fun in one way — but also... ]
Yeah? [ Beat. His weight eases back onto one hand, supporting himself easily. Letting the yukata fall another few centimeters. ] I hope you're not about to tell me how much I love paperwork.
[ If you can't bully Asters in their dreams, where can you bully them. ] [ But also: that's not the reaction he was expecting either, and Lupine is giving Aster props for it even as his smile slants. ]
I must've, if you didn't even need to withhold it as a carrot to get me to finish the job.
[ ......but even after two strikes, Lupine will admit: he's still kind of waiting for Aster to say something totally guileless like, 'After all, what wouldn't you do for a Klondike bar?' ]
[ It's maybe not completely contiguous with the part where Aster was shyly confessing something, but that's going to be one of those things that bugs him after he wakes up from this dream, and with everything else it's probably not gonna rank. ]
[ Yeah, it totally works with the swimmy dream logic, and it's honestly so much more comfortable for him than Shy Confessions anyway, but Lupine will crook a finger at him. C'mere. ]
Yeah? Because I've got this terrible habit. [ Beat. If Aster comes closer, this is where he's going to curl his fingers in the front of Aster's own robe and tug him down onto the bed. ] Sometimes I eat my dessert first.
[ Awake Aster? Would have gotten nowhere near this conversation, probably having long ago turned it to something about paperwork and a healthy breakfast and such. ]
[ Dream Aster? He'll move around the table at that little crook of Lupine's finger and get tugged in, catching a hand on the futon below him to put himself nose-to-nose with his temporary master. There's a flush over his face and the tips of his ears, but even so he manages to steadily get out: ]
That sounds like quite the bad habit... But perhaps it's not too bad to indulge now and then.
[ And this is why Dream Aster is kinda hot. ] [ Lupine's gaze goes a little darker, his grin a little wider, and all the concerns he had when he first found himself in this dream go out the window. ]
[ There's a brief flash of a smile that's full of confidence before he's leaning in to close the gap with a kiss that's all slow building and raw heat, his free hand moving up to bury into Lupine's hair to keep him close. ]
[ —Very nice. Lupine's grinning into it after a few seconds, but then he gives the front of Aster's shirt another firm tug. Into his lap, there's a good boy.
A nip for Aster's bottom lip, which he hopes is nicely encouraging. ]
[ There's no hesitance in the shift of his body from leaning into Lupine to sliding into his lap, comfortably sitting himself close with a breathy sigh into Lupine's mouth. He's very shortly refocused on deepening the kiss after the nip that pulls a quiet groan out of him, both hands now in Lupine's hair because who wouldn't want to touch Lupine's hair honestly. But they trail through languidly to brush his fingers against the other's scalp, curling just slightly for that touch of nails against him. ]
[ His hair is honestly very nice, fine and kind of silky when it's recently brushed, and just generally in better condition than people normally expect — or expected, before he showed up here and started doing moderately fancy things with it.
But also? He's pretty reactive to having it played with and yanked on, and he likes that miniature scalp massage, a low noise of his own deep in his throat in response as his grip tightens, free hand finding Aster's hip and dragging him closer still. Close enough to grind. ]
[ There's an abrupt moan into Lupine's mouth, sharp and breathy as his hips are pulled down against Lupine's and he can't help the near-automatic response to follow that guidance and roll his hips down again. The nails against Lupine's scalp drag a bit more than he means to from the sensation, not nearly rough enough to draw blood but rougher than someone sitting in his 'master's' lap would think to. ]
[ At this closeness, Lupine can probably feel more than see how flushed Aster is on his cheeks to the tips of his ears and the back of his neck, but even with that fluster he seems to know exactly what he wants and goes for it, pressing his tongue into Lupine's mouth and pulling taste after taste of him that's sure to at least leave himself breathless at least. ]
[ Oh, that's great, he likes that. Might especially like the little burst of pain, but you know. Different strokes.
Lupine meets that kiss, newly almost hungry for it; and after a beat of indecision he yanks Aster to him and rolls back, so that he's flat on his back on the bed and Aster's astride him.
He can get into D/s, but this dream started a little too literal for him, and in this moment he'd much rather have Aster on top. ]
[ Aster's tugged in with that pull easily enough, giving a soft grunt into the kiss at the movement though and breaking their kiss just for a moment. A moment that he needs to shift himself on top of Lupine, leaning back so he can get off his own top and shove it away, his hands going for that open front of his 'master's' yukata and spread it open while dragging his fingernails over slowly bared skin. ]
[ Zero judgments for Aster. It's a totally harmless fantasy! But he likes that, watches it happen with lidded eyes gone dark, and hisses softly at the gentle scrape—
—only to be brought up maybe a little short by Aster's words, but in a very different way from how he's been startled before. This is just the — blank beat of surprise everyone gets when they do or say something that implies he's, like, objectively good-looking or something? Somehow??
After a second or two, it shifts into a faintly bemused smile, then passes entirely into a smirk. ]
Say it like that and you'll make a guy think he's doing something wrong.
[ Lupine arches just a few centimeters off the bed, enough that he can yank the knot in his obi so that it comes completely undone, then settles back down, watching Aster expectantly. ]
[ He reaches a hand to the obi to pull it away, absently licking his lips because he's suddenly finding them rather dry looking down at Lupine like this. His whole mouth feels dry, in fact, and there's the idle thought that there's a bunch of ways he could take care of that. One of which he's settling himself right on top of, which means that the bottom of Lupine's yukata is pinned closed, that last layer and Aster's own very loosened yukata all that's left between them, but there's a bit of excitement in saving it. In savoring it, even. ]
I'd give the line about not wanting to be right in this case, but I'd rather hear you groaning from me in this-
[ He gives a pointed roll of his hips down against Lupine's that is far too purposeful for it to not be his first time doing something like that. ]
- regard rather then because of my corny line.
[ From the heated look in Aster's eyes, one that's concentrated on Lupine himself as he leans down to press kisses and nips and sharp bites over Lupine's chest, he's found his rhythm. That rhythm just happens to be chasing after any of those sensations that get Lupine to react in nice ways. His hands keep busy too, dragging nails up Lupine's sides and sliding under his lower back to curl his fingers there too, encouraging the other man to arch up into him. ]

No, but you loved something else so much you were willing to do as much paperwork as necessary after.

[ And honestly that's a pretty fair expectation of Lupine, given all their interactions thusfar and would quite normally be the right one to have. ]
I've never heard a complaint before, and I certainly don't expect to hear any in the future.
