[ in a singsong voice, perhaps surprisingly more sonorous than warranted or expected, some quality of it mesmerizing - his tone, his laughter is infectious, bright and carefree, and it feels like it could spread to you ]

[It's not especially hard, right now, not when he's still flushed with the exertion and the excitement both, eyes alive and hair tousled.]

[He gets his other arm up, to help steady Lucifel - shifts a little closer, to better facilitate him not falling off the chair, with the way he's leaning.]

[ when he's finally caught his breath - it takes a while - he's found himself leaning on the other more fully, supported mostly by him, and it's a full moment before he remembers the awkwardness of that - he ducks his head, face flushed a darker, muted color ]

Ah - [He flushes himself, remembering.] - yeah, uh. I mean. If you're still up for it?

[Please hold while he thinks for a second about the best way to do this, then opens up the closet door and just rolls the chair right up to the edge.]

[He wheels the chair out of the closet so the door has room to close - hesitates, there on the threshold, not closing it.]

[ shifting to make space - ]

Naw, I'm good. I, uh -

[He ducks his head, cheeks dark - takes a quick breath and steps in, pulling the door closed behind him and taking the light with it.]

[There are a couple of seconds of rustling, in the dark, as he gets himself settled.]

Oh -

[ shifting, hands trailing lightly against the floor to find the other ]

- wait, maybe I should be sitting on your lap . . . ?

Uh.

[There are a couple of seconds of silence; then another rustling, and Hurricane is suddenly sitting beside him.]

...sure. I. How you wanna...?

[ awkwardly, ]

I could . . . grab your shoulder . . .

[ like so, feeling for his shoulder with his other hand on the floor ]

Uh. Yeah. Should I help you...?

[He reaches out, cautious, to try and support Lucifel with one hand, aiming for his arm - finds his side, instead.]

[ very admirably managing not to squirm to the touch, using the other's shoulder as grip to shift himself and sit squarely on his lap ]

- is this fine? I'm not too heavy, am I . . . ?

[Does a little less well at not squirming, when Lucifel's settled. His voice sounds somewhat strained.]

N-no, you're - you're good.

[ it's too dark to see how flushed his face is but his heart is a little fast ]

- are you sure? I can get off, really -

[His heart doesn't beat at all. There are no tells, except the tone of his voice, which is decidedly flustered.]

[ so strange - he feels out his shoulders, leaning closer ]

[He goes for his phone, which is in his pocket, only his lap is full of fish right now. He ends up sliding a hand along Lucifel's tail, instead - makes a small noise of embarrassment, and takes his hand back, hasty.]
