[On the one hand, considering how his day went, it's surprising that Doctor's dreams aren't worse tonight.

On the other hand, there is a small grey dragon reclining on a pillow that says 'YES' on it, on a very large and soft bed.]

I didn't mind this part so much, come to think of it.

'Twould be a shame to associate such a cute form only with that event.

It would be a shame, but I don't think if it that way. I associate it with someone being kind to me when I needed it.

What, the transformations? Getting there kinda hurt, for my part, but being a wolf was fine.

[ You know how dreams just sort of make sense while you're in them, usually? Yeah, he's not especially curious about how he got into a room with a bed in it at the moment. ]

I wasn't particularly fond of the twisting and whatnot, but I do like getting pets.

[ Settling on the bed. If this is a petting-request, he can do that? He likes petting dragons, too, as long as the dragon is on board with it. ]

Indeed they were. Having seen your wolf form, I can understand the temptation.

[ Since you're currently a small dragon, after all. ] [ Man, he went Mouth immediately both rounds, and he didn't actually run into any Hands, so he doesn't even know smaller more diminutive wolf was a possibility. ]

Well, I'd need hands for that, so...

Oh, it's much easier to do that in a dream than it is in the game.

[ Is it? Lupine pauses, then gives it a try.

He's been a wolf more than just the one time, so he has some instinct for shifting, and — yeah, that's a lot easier. No bones shifting painfully or anything! ]

[ —and then, just, wolf. Good thing damaged clothes aren't going to mean anything in a dream. Still oversized, but maybe a little less enormous, more of a large-dog size.

His fur is, in fact, very 'soft' — in that it's utterly frictionless, which kind of feels like softness. ]

[Time for petting - and that's plenty close enough to softness for him.]

I'm more of a cat person, but I can certainly make exceptions for cute enough wolves.

[ You'd be getting such an amused look right now, if his featureless void face were capable of it. You'll just have to grok it from the way his eyes crinkle up at the corners.

Pets are pretty good, though, and he'll lean into them. ]
