Hold on a sec, dude, there's gotta be a rolling chair around here or something.
[Please hold, he is going to go look for one!!]
[...and because it's a dream, there probably even is one. He's back some nebulous amount of time later, a little out of breath and pushing a computer rolling chair.]
[ he's like 130lb s so he's not Impossible to carry, and moreover he's pushing himself up with his arms as much as he can and he's got pretty good arm strength, so
[Going to push him over to the closet, then! He goes at a pretty good clip, but he's ready to help lift the fin in case if gets too close to those wheels.]
[ tbh at some point he just bodily lifts himself up with his palms on the armrests - dude lifts, apparently - to better fold his tail onto the seat, almost like a snake coiling
[He braces his arms against the back of the chair - sinks his fingers into the backrest cushion for a better grip, and leans into it, and full-on sprints.]
[Honestly, he's passing the closet the first time and just going for another loop around the room.]
[And, after putting on even more speed, he's kicking up both legs and half-leaning over the chair back, and now they're both zooming by at an inadvisable speed, and also no one is steering.]
[THEY'RE GONNA DIE THAT WALL IS COMING UP TOO FAST -]
[No actually turns out he has a pretty good feel for not crashing things that are going way too freaking fast. He leans hard, and they careen out sideways just in time to miss the wall, and he drops his feet down to put on another burst of speed.]
[ it's fine, he can heal himself, if anything he'll protect hurricane -
but they veer and he leans too when he realizes what's happening, his heart is beating a million miles per hour and he can't help but laugh, startled and gleeful all at once, clinging to his seat ]
[He gets one leg up on the base of the chair, on one of the plastic starfish arms that point out from the center - leans forward again, so most of his weight's on the chair back, and propels them forward like he's riding a skateboard. Spoilers: metal legs provide quite a bit of propulsive force, it turns out.]
[They loop out and around - circle the room at a breakneck pace that narrowly avoids hitting any ill-placed pedestrians.]
[At last they skid to the stop by the closet, though, Hurricane planting both heels until they roll to a stand-still.]
by the time they skid to a stop he is completely melted fish putty, a mess of hair and dizzy laughter, laughter that's so hard and breathless that he's oozing out of the seat, grip against the chair weaker now ]
Wah . . . !! Hurri . . . . -san is so fast . . . !!
[ in a singsong voice, perhaps surprisingly more sonorous than warranted or expected, some quality of it mesmerizing - his tone, his laughter is infectious, bright and carefree, and it feels like it could spread to you ]
no subject
[ sliding off the chair now, pulling himself to seating position with his arms ]
Uhm, which way?
no subject
[He gestures to the closet that he totally knows is there because he once pulled down part of the ceiling of it, oops -]
You gonna be okay without water, though?
no subject
[ starting to scoot that way then ]

Modern technology is so convenient.

Can't top a spinny chair.
[He hesitates - comes in close, so he can try and get an arm around Lucifel and Lucifel's arm over his shoulder.]
You ready?
no subject
- Yes!
no subject
[Lifts as hard as he can, trying to shift him over to the chair.]
no subject
chair! we're here now ]
no subject
Watch your tail, dude, we're gonna move.
no subject
[ shifting and scooting up further in the chair so he can awkwardly lift his fins up ]

Can't use a rolly chair unless you're gonna use a rolly chair right, amiright?
no subject
