[ they growl and whip their tail once before charging him to try and tag him with the taser they slip out of their pocket and into their hand. ]

the taser doesn't seem to have an effect even as it sparks loudly against his skin. he jokes: ]

Oh, don't tell me you're fucking augmented on top of fucking everything!

[ they pivot though, stepping forward and pulling out a knife with their other hand to try and stab him in between the ribs. ]

[ there's a wince as the blade stabs through and he drops his hand to grab their wrist - - but it's oddly gentle. ]

there's another wince but his reaction really doesn't seem appropriate to the level of damage - - it's like he stepped on a lego and didn't just get stabbed in the gut - - and breathlessly he laughs. ]
