[He chuckles, tracing his fingers down Ardyn's face and then to his neck again.]

I think it is safe to say they are somewhat biased.

[Straightening properly, he wraps his hands around Ardyn's throat again - simply resting against the skin without any pressure yet.]

[ there's a slight, pleased sigh and he tips his head back again, adam's apple bobbing as he swallows. ]

[Levity's face flushes a little at those small signs of pleasure. This is rather different - after all, Levity himself is much more used to being on the receiving end of such things, - but it is certainly pleasant and interesting.

It feels like it has been quite a while since he last felt like this. Gently, he strokes the side of Ardyn's neck with a thumb, feeling his pulse. There's something... exhilarating about this.]

[ Absinthe's hands shift and he moves to push Levity's thumbs further inwards, so they're pointing to the underside of Absinthe's jaw while Levity's fingers circle the sides of his neck. ]

[Normally it's the kind of thing that Levity would say teasingly, but he's actually relaxed and curious enough that the remark is genuine.]

[Though he's the one in charge, Levity takes a deep breath first before slowly pressing down, watching Absinthe's face for any sign of negative - or positive - reaction. Since he's being careful, so far it's enough to restrict his breathing but not cut it off yet.]

[ Absinthe remarks before Levity starts to squeeze - - and when he does he inhales on reflex, eyes half lidded. honestly at this point the pleasure is mostly psychological, the emotional thrill of being under Levity's grasp, the switch over from when they first had sex. ]

[There's a curious hum from Levity - what does a "less hands on approach" even mean here? But that's likely a question better saved for later. He smiles at the praise and presses down harder, more confidently - this time enough to cut off Absinthe's breathing.]

[ there's a hitch before it cuts off entirely, a shift under him -- an instinct that he's suppressing to try to intake again and then an approving him, encouraging, moving his grip from Levity's hands to his wrists to pet the outside of them ]

[Levity's own breathing deepens slowly as he watches Absinthe, feeling the warmth and the slight movements of his throat under his fingers. The petting gets another happy smile from him - it's a good reassurance that they're both enjoying this, that it's done willingly.

But, ah. This is exciting.

Levity hums softly before leaning down to press his lips against Absinthe's, his heart beating faster. It's a little strange to realize, but... a lot of what Levity wants to do here is a gentler reenaction of what was done to him. Maybe as a way to establish in his mind that such things can be done with affection...

...but he can't deny it's also nice to have Absinthe at his mercy, to be in control. Experimentally, Levity tightens his hold on Absinthe's throat as he kisses him, wondering about what kind of a reaction he'll get out of the other man.]

[ there's another noise -- this time instead of just approving it's almost more ... hungry, a twitch of his hips under Levity's as if he's trying to get friction against him. now, moreso than before the physical component of this is taking effect as he starts to lose his breath, the light-headedness and the thrill that comes with that and a breathless, haggard moan escaping from his lips and against Levity's own. ]

[Levity's own reaction is a surprise to himself: he's avoided thinking about sex lately for obvious reasons, so the familiar jolt of warmth and excitement in his gut is more than unexpected... but once again not unpleasant. Levity doesn't tighten his hold, judging it to be sufficient, but his fingers certainly twitch at hearing that moan, at knowing he's having an effect.

It's intoxicating, in its own way.

Heart beating faster, Levity lets himself deepen the kiss - almost teasingly slow, thorough, as though aiming to test if Absinthe would get impatient or desperate if this goes on long enough.]

[ Absinthe does seem to get a bit more impatient -- he's not moving his hands as much as he'd want to, though, restraining that urge but seeming to channel that into other things. like parting his mouth, so his noises get muffled there and he tries to deepen the kiss more aggressively in turn, tongue against Levity's lips to seek entrance.

the extra effort he's putting in only makes him more breathless, lungs straining, and that's all the more exciting. ]

[It's certainly exciting for Levity too, as he shifts slightly on top of Absinthe, bending down some more, his own breath picking up. Absinthe asking permission voicelessly to kiss him is... kind of cute, honestly, and Levity can't help nipping at his lower lip in response as another playful way to establish dominance.

A part of him starts worrying about whether or not he's been denying Absinthe air for too long, but Levity at least trusts the other man enough to let him know if that was the case. And surely he can hold on for a little while more, yes?

Levity kisses Absinthe again, parting his lips this time, soft and inviting, to let the other man deepen the kiss if he wants it that much. There's a hint of fond smugness to that thought; it really is nice to be in control, to be able to choose whether to give Absinthe what he wants or not.]

[ he could technically make it in the dream so he literally never had to breathe again but that almost takes the fun out of it. "the fun" being the lack of air, the way the beat of his heart rings loud in his eardreams, the way he starts to feel a little dizzy on top of the general light-headedness.

still -- he kisses him through all that, now instead of just keeping a hold of his wrists wrapping his arms fully around Levity as if to keep him close (even if the chance of Levity pulling away at this point is really very low). ]

Levity makes an impatient, almost hungry noise at the embrace. It's a strange thing, what he is and isn't comfortable with: Levity might have expected himself to panic at closer contact, but it's in fact nearly the opposite. There wasn't much closeness there, after all...

Levity cuts off that thought - he doesn't need it right now, it can be safely put off for analysis until later. Not to mention that the main problem occupying his mind right now is that he wants to hold Ardyn just as close, but that's a little awkward with the position and he doesn't quite want to let go of his throat yet, not until he sees the man struggle for real.

So Levity kisses back, focused on not letting Ardyn get a breath in, tongue working against his as his fingers press down just a little tighter.]

that's something he's very much considering but perhaps not at the moment. along with the thrill that comes from being strangled like this he knows there's the eventual relief, the near-orgasmic like ecstasy that can come from taking that first breath in after it being restrained for so long, that he's looking forward to.

his kissing does slow a little but it's largely because the air loss is more distracting at this point, honestly. he was holding Levity but now his fingertips, his nails start to curl into his back through his clothes and his nostrils flare as he starts to see bright spots of light behind his eyelids when he squeezes them shut, but --

he doesn't want to give in or fight back quite yet. part of him is curious to see how far Levity would go, if he just let him continue this. ]

There's another noise from Levity as Absinthe's nails start digging into his back - pleased and flustered in equal measure, because Levity is usually the one initiating this manner of thing, not receiving it. But that, too, is nice.

Between the tighter hold, though, and the way Absinthe slows down Levity is pretty certain he's close to the more dangerous edge. And tempting as it is to experiment, he's still first and foremost scared of actually hurting him--

--and that's why he only keeps kissing him for a few more seconds before straightening up and then, only then finally relaxing his hold on Absinthe's throat - though he's not squeezing anymore, he keeps his hands in place still, curious about the physical side of the reaction he'll get.]

[ Absinthe gasps for air when he's released -- his eyes open and his mouth parts as his breath comes in, his aching lugs relieved and adrenaline running through his veins as he can finally breathe again. his nails only curl more deeply into Levity's back as he pants, wanting to speak but not being able to make the effort quite at the moment --

but he does manage a breathless, pleased laugh, slips sliding into a sharp smile. ]

[There's a pang of flustered excitement in Levity's gut at seeing Absinthe like this. It's... endearing in its way, really; the way he holds tighter onto Levity, the way he pants, unable to speak, the way he smiles.

Levity slides his hands up to dig them into the other man's hair, rubbing at his scalp gently, and leans down to press a few kisses to his cheek and jaw.]

Not at all.

[ he finally manages to say that much as he catches his breath, fingers slowly uncurling as he instead strokes his back ]

I'm not very delicate, as you'll find.

[Levity can't help chuckling at that a little.]

I suppose I am, out of the two of us.

[One of his hands tightens its grip on Absinthe's hair and, perhaps unexpectedly, Levity nips at his earlobe, rather harder than his words would imply.]

...Something of a dangerous combination, aren't we.

[ Absinthe laughs -- half-surprised, but not unhappy with this, shifting his own hand to tangle into Levity's hair ]

[There's a huff of laughter against his skin, a little flustered.]
