I'm imagining a universe that's got those blush marks and big sparkly shining eyes looking tremulous at a chiseled ice cream man, maybe wearing just a little hat and apron instead of a regular uniform. But that's just my first instinct.

OK, so like... the universe has been feeling empty so it's started to search for something to fill the void with pleasure and satisfaction and Van Filler has to see if his ice cream, toppings, and most of all delicious sauces are up to the task?

Maybe if he doesn't, the hungry cosmos is gonna devour his home planet? Add some stakes? A lot of these love interests are 'bad boy' types.
