People will marry for less than that. Besides, it isn't as though sleeping with the person is as far as your relationship with them will go, right?

"We have mutual interest in this activity, let's see if we're compatible enough to do this together." But if you're compatible enough to do that, naturally you'll have other things to enjoy with them, so isn't it fine?

But at that point, isn't it less awkward to just do the other activities with people and get to know them that way without making it about whether we can have sex? If we enjoy it and get close, even if they don't want to do it, we could still be friends.

It isn't as though you're rejecting them though, right? Like -

If a jigsaw piece doesn't fit into the puzzle, does that make it any more difficult to put the other pieces in? It's just one aspect that you aren't compatible with a person over, but in the first place, it takes more than that for it to cut off a relationship's growth. Like I said, sex doesn't have to be the end-all - it can be the start, the excuse for the beginning of the relationship.

. . . Well, I suppose in the first place, you're speaking to a person who started a relationship with someone, not knowing if the other would ever love him or not. Perhaps my perspective is skewed.

"Propositioned" is a bit... well, that might be accurate for King. Mars drew the line at no kissing. Other people... I had to tell Griffin I was interested in him after the house, but I knew he didn't think of me as a more than a friend to start with. I guess you could put Nine Nine in that category too, though sleeping with him would be a bad idea regardless, and that was a while ago...

Those are all the main ones... I don't really keep it a secret if I'm interested and I think there's any chance of it working out.

I guess I'm comfortable enough with Yugi or Man Eater that I wouldn't mind sleeping with them, but I'm not really into them, and that would just make things even more weird with King and Intensity. Primrose and I were interested in each other and going on dates for a little while, but we had a big fight about my live, and only recently talked it out, so I don't think I want to any more... it would always have been awkward with Joker and everyone, anyway. I thought Kohime was a bit attractive, but we barely know each other, and we have Sabre now, so that would be weird too...

I know. I've actually talked to him about relationships and romance and that kind of a thing a lot, because we have similar perspectives... or, he's a lot like I was when I first got here. I knew it wouldn't be his kind of thing, which is why I wasn't going to tell him I liked him like that.

But, I stole his first kiss, in the house, while I was possessed. He was pretty upset about it, so I had to at least explain.

He ended up with a couple of girlfriends right after, so I think he's doing okay, but... probably he's still not interested.

And, Nine-san has Anubis-san, so that would be a hurdle in and of itself, I would think . . .

I don't know that they're exclusive, but yeah, even so. More importantly, he didn't want to get involved in my relationship tangle when it involved Intensity and Joker, and I don't think he's any more eager to when it has Intensity and King. Reasonably.
