[ here's the scenario. you are in the game tower at your chair, which you have finally managed to acquire. you have no legs, as you are now a mermaid, but the secret condition to getting humanoid legs is absolutely off the table. so you are stuck in a position of having to either use your arms to get around slowly, or ask other people for help.

you are in the same area as one of your ex-friends, who you have earlier dismissed (?when?) and have essentially tried to avoid, for the sake of his friend's sense of safety, given you have sort of been a little crazy in their direction. you can become a human if you do these bingo squares of embarrassment but he is standing in the way of you and any semblance of being able to do the squares with other people. you are not even sure how to hold a conversation with him again without somehow saying or doing something that would hurt him, or maybe hurt her.
